UkrOboronProm to showcase at IDEX 2017 its upgrade BTR-4 with new armament

State Enterprise “Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau” (KMDB), part of the concern UkrOboronProm, to unveil  a new version of the BTR-4 armoured personnel carrier  with the armament of increased fire power at the international exhibition and conference IDEX 2017 (February 19 – 23, 2017, Abu Dhabi).

The new version of the BTR-4  armoured vehicle extends the family of 8×8 wheeled vehicles, which is currently in serial manufacturing. SE KMDB has developed and manufactured the prototype of BTR-4, which is armed with a remote controlled weapon station BM2-30, two automatic 30 mm cannons, coaxial 7.62 mm machine gun and two anti-tank missiles.

This structural concept enables to increase density of fire and essentially enhance the first-shot probability of kill.

SE KMDB invites all guests of the exhibition to take a look at the prototype of BTR-4 at the stand of the SC Ukroboronprom on February 19 – 23, at the international exhibition and conference IDEX 2017.

The Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau (KMDB) is a state enterprise, which is now Ukraine’s leading design authority for armoured fighting vehicles and used to play a key role in the development of armoured tracked vehicles in the former Soviet Union.
