Ukraine develops new type of kamikaze robots

Ukrainian military technology cluster, Brave1, has unveiled its latest creation, a ground kamikaze robot known as “Ratel S,” designed to enable precise strikes on enemy targets from a safe distance.

This development has garnered attention not only for its technological prowess but also for its potential impact on modern warfare.

Ratel S, a ground robot developed by Ukrainian engineers, serves as a mobile warhead carrier carrying anti-tank mines or bombs. Its key feature lies in the ability for operators to remotely detonate enemy tanks or fortifications from a secure location, ensuring the safety of military personnel.

The robotic platform boasts a maximum speed of 24 kilometers per hour and a range of up to 6 kilometers. It can operate continuously for up to 2 hours without requiring recharging. Ratel S has successfully completed field trials and is now in serial production, marking a significant advancement in Ukraine’s defense technology capabilities.
