Ukrainian Troops Undergo Training at Shyrokyi Lan

The Ukrainian troops undergo training  on military training center «Shyrokyi Lan». A raid unit took up position in the imaginary enemy’s rear and took up defensive positions. The personnel along with ammo for replenishment landed from Il-76 and An-26 aircrafts.

The landing was organized on the back of counterattack of the enemy’s anti-aircraft defence.

The pilots of Su-25 worked attack targets as part of a pair, countering MANPADS missiles and leaving the base at low altitude. And every day they worked with different type of weapons. Some exercises have been devoted to working out escape from enemy fighters.
