Ukraine has received 55 AT105 Saxon armoured personnel carrier. The first batch – 20 cars was delivered in 2014, reported defence-blog.com.

The cost of one Saxon AT-105 car is 51 thousand dollars, taking into account all fees and transportation costs. Besides two crew members, this vehicle can comprise seven soldiers. Armored vehicle can drive with a maximum speed of 96 km/h, has a four-wheel drive 4×4 and can also cross water obstacles to a depth of 90 cm.

75 Saxons were sold to Ukraine and announced the deal on 5 December 2014. The former chief commander of British land-forces, General Sir Richard Dannatt, said that supplying the vehicles to Ukraine was “immoral” as they were “useless”.
