Russia to donate two An-26 transport aircraft to Kyrgyzstan

Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Alexander Fomin will arrive in Kyrgyzstan on August 10, within the framework of the visit, the transfer of two An-26 military tactical transport aircraft to the Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the General Staff told on Tuesday.

The An-26 aircraft are transferred to Kyrgyzstan in the framework of the agreements reached by the presidents of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

The An-26 light military transport aircraft is a modification of the An-24, intended for transportation of cargo on the routes of short and medium range.

The minimum load is 5.5 t. It has cargo door whose ramp serves for entry of the technique or rolls away under the fuselage and loading directly from the car body.It may be used for transportation of 38-40 passengers on folding seats along the board on altitudes to 6000 meters.
