Japan conducts Patriot live-fire training in U.S.

The Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) recently conducted live-fire missile training exercises in the United States, highlighting its commitment to enhancing joint operational capabilities with allied nations.

The exercises included collaboration with the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) and the U.S. Army, underscoring the importance of interoperability in addressing shared security challenges.

The training provided the JASDF’s Patriot air defense units with the opportunity to test their readiness in real-world scenarios. A statement from the Ministry of Defense emphasized the value of these drills in improving Japan’s ability to respond to aerial threats collaboratively with its allies.
