Israel-based Aero-Sentinel has shared with Defence Blog the results of an independent acoustic test, confirming that its Aerosol G2 drone outperformed leading commercial models, including DJI’s Matrice 350 and Autel Alpha, in overall noise reduction and frequency control.
The objective test was conducted by Galit Environmental Quality Company, an accredited Israeli organization specializing in acoustic examinations using professional NTI-Audio measurement systems. The evaluation took place on September 28, 2025, and involved comparative sound measurements at multiple distances and altitudes, from one to eighty meters.
According to the official test report, the Aerosol G2 recorded a noise level of 74.9 dB at one meter, compared to 85.1 dB for the Matrice 350 and 80.3 dB for the Autel Alpha. When extrapolated to a distance of 200 meters, the G2 measured only 28.9 dB, nearly 10 decibels quieter than its closest competitor. At one kilometer, the G2’s acoustic signature dropped to 14.9 dB, making it virtually inaudible under field conditions.
The frequency spectrum analysis further confirmed the G2’s acoustic advantage, showing consistently lower decibel levels across the tested range—from 100 Hz to 16,000 Hz—particularly in the mid-frequency band most noticeable to human hearing.
According to Aero-Sentinel, the G2 drone is engineered to meet the demands of covert surveillance and tactical reconnaissance in contested environments. The system combines 80 minutes of flight endurance with near-silent propulsion, enabling operators to perform low-altitude missions without detection. The company says the drone can reach a range of up to 11 kilometers and has already been operated by special units around the world.
“The G2 platform is designed to provide a new level of acoustic stealth and reliability for tactical missions,” the company said. “This makes it ideal for defense and security forces requiring both endurance and discretion.”
Compact and lightweight, the G2 measures only 60 centimeters across and weighs 3.5 kilograms. It features four electric motors and can carry payloads up to one kilogram, supporting a variety of ISR and communication modules. The drone’s maximum speed reaches 12 meters per second, and its line-of-sight range extends to seven kilometers—or nearly double when using Aero-Sentinel’s proprietary directional antenna system.
Aero-Sentinel said the G2’s verified acoustic performance positions it as one of the quietest tactical drones in its category, offering operators a crucial advantage in stealth and survivability during sensitive operations.
