According to the monitoring group DeepState, approximately 13 trucks carrying personnel were destroyed in the strike. The group’s reports align with information from Russian sources, which confirmed the attack and suggested that Ukrainian forces used HIMARS systems, a weapon not previously documented in this region during the invasion.

The Russian Telegram channel Voenny Osvedomitel stated, “It is possible that the next step for the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be to break through the border in this area.”

This incident underscores the escalating intensity of the clashes in the Kursk region, with Ukrainian forces continuing to exert pressure on Russian positions.
