Ukraine’s frontline troops thank US for weapons that save lives

Ukrainian military personnel have launched a social media campaign expressing gratitude to the American people for the military assistance that has enabled Ukraine to resist Russian aggression and protect civilian lives.

The initiative features video messages recorded by service members across various branches of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, acknowledging the critical role of U.S. support in their defense efforts.

“Soldiers of the Ukrainian Ground Forces thank the people of the United States for their assistance, which allows us to defend our land and our freedom,” reads one of the messages, delivered in English by Ukrainian troops.

The campaign has seen participation from personnel manning American-made armored vehicles such as the MAXXPro, Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle, and Paladin self-propelled howitzers. Infantry units equipped with American-supplied machine guns and anti-tank weapons have also joined the initiative.

Ukrainian F-16 pilots specifically thanked the American people for enabling them to protect Ukrainian cities from Russian airstrikes. Operators of the Patriot missile defense system urged continued solidarity between Americans and Ukrainians. Members of air defense crews using the HAWK missile system have also voiced their appreciation, emphasizing the importance of ongoing U.S. support in countering aerial threats.

This campaign highlights the significance of American military aid in Ukraine’s ongoing resistance against Russian forces. With continued support from international allies, Ukrainian troops remain committed to defending their country and preserving its sovereignty.
