Russian missile formation equipped with Iskander-M to conduct exercises with combat launches

The servicemen of the Southern MD missile formation located in the Krasnodar Krai started preparations for the combat training exercise on Iskander-M complexes at the Kapustin Yar range (Astrakhan Region).

Within the exercise, the units of the brigade have been put on the highest level of combat alert. The crews will perform a 800-kilometre march to the assigned areas where tactical maneuvers will be held.

In the course of the exercise, the combat crews will perform missile strikes at targets and infrastructural facilities at the distances of up to 300 km.

At the present time, the combat crews practice actions on launching ramps and transport and load vehicles.

Moreover, the Iskander-M crews carry out driving practice overcoming different obstacles and cornering in limited space.
