Russia unveiled concept of new combat gear for “soldier of the future”

The Central Research Institute of Precision Machine Building (TsNIITochMash) has unveiled a new concept combat gear for “soldier of the future”.

Oleg Chikarev, the institute’s deputy chief of weapons, said: “We’re working on a concept for the combat suit of the future. On display is our vision of the suit we would like to develop within the next couple of years.

The kit of new combat gear includes a titanium exoskeleton to increase strength and endurance. The high-technology suit a bunch of protective and life support elements and allows a soldier to get continuously updated information about the situation in the combat area.
