Russia held an exercise on detecting and evacuating a spacecraft crew

Russian Search-and-rescue detachment of the Central MD held an exercise on detecting and evacuating a spacecraft crew in the Chelyabinsk region.

The rescuers detected a spacecraft and reached the landing on cross-country vehicles. They practiced providing medical assistance to conditional astronauts as well as evacuating them to a hospital.

About 100 servicemen as well as An-26 aircraft, Mi-8 helicopters and more than 30 pieces of hardware were involved in the exercise.
