MSM Group (TATRA utility trucks and Czechoslovak group) has showcased the KBV-12 Patriot tactical military vehicle during the 7th IDEB international defence and security exhibition.
The KBV-12 PATRIOT 4×4 is a medium armored tactical multi-mission vehicle for army operations. This vehicle is equipped with a remote-controlled weapons station with gun mounts, potentially carrying 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine guns, automatic grenade launchers, and anti-tank weapons systems.
According to expert Norbert Tomasovsky, the mutual project of TATRA utility trucks and Czechoslovak group based on the idea of creating a response from Europe to American Oshkosh M-ATV as a same level option but clearly cheaper alternative within NATO countries.

Probably the most successful project of the future products in the defence industry for next few years in the MRAP 4×4 class APVs for lower intensity conflicts and peacekeeping duties noted Norbert.
This compact vehicle has been designed as a multipurpose tactical vehicle in configurations suitable for artillery support, general military reconnaissance,
command and control, electronic warfare or RCIED jammer carrier, CIMIC/PSYOPS vehicle, cooperation with civilian authorities, etc.

This armored vehicle fulfils all STANAG standards applicable to this type of equipment. At the same time, the vehicle complies with all road traffic regulations, therefore, it can be operated safely on public roads for emergency management or training purposes.
