First foreign teams are coming to Russia for the International military games

Chinese People’s Liberation Army servicemen have arrived to Novosibirsk with their hardware to participate in the “Masters of reconnaissance” international contest, which will be held in August at the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School training complex.

Teams from the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School, Western MD and Baltic Fleet, that have won the All-army military contest, will represent Russia during the professional skills competition. Team from Belarus will also join the contest.

The all-army competition “Masters of reconnaissance” consists of five stages, including firing from various weapons, driving infantry combat vehicle in difficult terrain conditions, meeting qualification standards of landing and disembarking from the helicopter, cutting of the reconnaissance squad behind the enemy as well as performing reconnaissance ambush.

One of the most difficult stages for the reconnaissance officers will be passing of the “Reconnaissance path”, during which the reconnaissance element covers about 20 obstacles for a certain time intact and wearing a full battle suit.

All the competitions are held with the maximum use of simulation means in conditions close to combat.
