China unveils new wheeled chassis designed to carry modern missile systems

China has unveiled the next generation of heavy wheeled chassis reportedly designed to carry a new type of intercontinental ballistic missile.

In a video posted by state-run China Central Television (CCTV) showed a new HTF5700HEV 12×12 special wheeled platform developed by the Sanjiang Wanshan Special Vehicles Co.

A hybrid gasoline/electric powered heavy load transporters are planned used for new Chinese solid-fuelled road-mobile intercontinental ballistic missile systems.

The new type of chassis has an original design and smaller dimensions in height compared to the previous generation of Chinese special chassis.
