Canadian armored vehicle manufacturer Roshel is set to make its European debut at the MSPO International Defence Industry Exhibition in Poland, showcasing two of its flagship products—the Senator MRAP and the Senator MRAP Pickup.
This annual defense industry event, held in Kielce, is one of the largest in Europe, attracting major defense contractors and government representatives from around the world.
“We will be showcasing two of our flagship products, the Senator MRAP and the Senator MRAP Pickup. Visit us at Booth E-51 to learn more about our latest innovations,” Roshel announced, highlighting the significance of this debut.
The exhibition marks a key moment for Roshel, as the company considers expanding its presence in Europe. In June, a report by Defence24 revealed that Roshel is exploring the possibility of establishing a production facility in Poland. This move is part of the company’s broader strategy to meet the growing demand for its armored vehicles in the European market.
Roshel CEO Roman Shimonov confirmed the plans, stating, “Poland’s strategic location in the automotive and defense markets makes it a preferred site for our new plant.” The potential production site would enable Roshel to enhance its manufacturing capabilities, supporting NATO allies with advanced armored solutions and bolstering regional defense infrastructure.
The Senator family of armored vehicles has gained significant recognition, particularly in Ukraine, where they have demonstrated exceptional survivability in combat situations. With production rapidly increasing—approximately 140 vehicles per month—Roshel has become a trusted name in the global armored vehicle market.
The potential establishment of a production facility in Poland would not only support Roshel’s expansion but also contribute to the region’s defense capabilities. As Europe faces evolving security challenges, the presence of a dedicated production site for advanced armored vehicles like the Senator MRAP could play a critical role in strengthening NATO’s defensive posture.
