Bogdan Corporation develops new light utility vehicle to replace Russian-made UAZ

Bogdan Corporation has released details of its new Bogdan 2351 light utility vehicle. The Ukrainian company has developed a Bogdan 2351 light utility vehicle to replace Russian-made UAZ that have been in service with the Ukrainian Defence Forces for over 20-40 years.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defence (MoD) announced plans to replace light 4×4 vehicles in service with the Army of the Ukraine, starting in 2017.

The Bogdan 2351 light utility vehicle was developed in the factory “Bogdan Motors”.  This vehicle was built on the Great Wall Wingle 5 chassis. Wheel drive five-seat car has a length of 5126 mm, width 1800 mm, height 2280 mm. Diesel power plant of Bogdan 2351 has a volume of 2.0 liters, the power of 105 kW (143 hp) with a maximum torque of 310 Nm / 1800 rev / min, combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Additional equipment of sanitary vehicle Bogdan 2251 may include an extra battery pack, AC adapter (220) heater Webasto (power – 4kW).
