Ukraine copmany unveiled upgraded «Varta» armored vehicle

The upgraded  model of new «Varta» armored vehicle was shown by  Ukraine copmany «Ukrainian armored vehicles». According to military-informant.com,  the  armored vehicle is an new variant of upgraded version of the  «Varta» armored personnel carrier.

«Varta» is a family of mine-resistant 4×4 light armoured vehicles. It is powered by a 270-hp YaMZ engine which provides a top speed of 120 kph. Its all-steel armor protects the crew, engine and other key components against small arms fire, grenades, anti-personnel mines and land mine detonation under any wheel.

The vehicle accepts eight passengers passengers in addition to the three crew members. The «Varta» vehicle comprises a modified MAZ chassis, an armored superstructure designated and manufactured by Bogdan Corporation. The «Varta» can be armed with a 7.62mm  щк 12,7mm machine gun mounted on the turret.
