Ukrainian emergency service receives new special armored vehicles

On June 8, Ukrainian company «Practika» has handed over the eight new pyrotechnic machines for the demining service of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations (SNSS of Ukraine).

According to the company’s statement,  «Practika» completed work on the order of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations (SNSS of Ukraine), and handed over to the Customer eight new pyrotechnic machines for the demining service.

The vehicle is a specialized modification of the armored vehicles «Kozak-5». It is designed for the needs of the SNSS of Ukraine and is intended for the transport of mines and unprocessed improvised explosive devices.

The standard version of «Kozak-5» armored vehicle is based on 4×4 truck Ford F550, specially modified by official Ford converter “DBL Design” (front axle strengthening, suspention and brakes enforcing, bigger wheels installing). Level of ballistic protection – STANAG level 1+.

Is intended for small groups transporting and using its body as armor screen in case of skirmishes. Also can be equipped by ladder for buildings assault.
