The Ukrainian-made Inguar-3 armored vehicle has once again proven its durability on the battlefield, withstanding a coordinated ambush and multiple drone strikes while keeping its crew alive.
According to Ukrainian troops, the vehicle came under attack after being caught in an ambush and targeted by three optic-controlled FPV drones in rapid succession. Despite the precision of the strikes, the Inguar-3 not only survived the assault but all crew members walked away without injuries.
Unlike many armored vehicles that ignite after taking a direct hit, the Inguar-3 maintained its structural integrity and continued to protect its occupants from harm. Soldiers involved in the incident described how the armored vehicle absorbed the blasts while they remained inside, highlighting its effectiveness under real combat conditions.
The manufacturer attributes this resilience to a design built specifically for combat rather than adapted from civilian platforms. Most armored vehicle producers rely on civilian-based chassis, which include a large number of plastic and rubber components such as dashboards, consoles, noise and vibration insulation, rubber flooring, and fabric door trim. These materials can ignite easily when exposed to the effects of a cumulative jet from drone munitions or anti-armor weapons.

In contrast, the Inguar-3 is engineered with battlefield realities in mind, reducing flammable components and reinforcing its protective structure to withstand sustained attacks. This approach has made it one of the most durable armored vehicles currently used by Ukrainian forces operating under constant drone threats.
The Inguar-3 has now been tested in some of the most challenging battlefield scenarios, where repeated drone strikes can overwhelm even modern armor. Ukrainian reports confirm that the vehicle not only endured the triple FPV assault but also prevented any injuries to the crew — an outcome that sharply contrasts with many other platforms, which often ignite and are rendered inoperable after a single hit.
