Ukraine to test new HUNTA all-terrain multirole vehicle

Belarus-based Overcomer company with Ukrainian Armor LLC has tested the new HUNTA all-terrain multirole vehicle at the training center of the State Border Service of Ukraine named after Major General Igor Momot.

The HUNTA (also named Husky) is an all-wheel-drive self-propelled all-purpose vehicle, which has tubeless low-pressure tyres. The vehicle is designed for the performance of internal and intraregional year-round transportations, delivery of people and equipment.

It is designed for the performance of repair and recovery, rescue and patrol operations in different road conditions, mainly on unsurfaced roads and cross country, on soils with a weak bearing surface, including virgin snow, sand, soil covering of the thawed fenlands and swamps, with the possibility of overcoming small water barriers by swimming.

HUNTA can be completed with special rescue, fire, etc. equipment. According to manufacturers the vehicle’s large tyres have been “tested in the most severe operating conditions” and provide “high flotation” with the Overcomer able to hit up to 8km/h on water.

With a maximum gross weight of 3.3 tons, the HUNTA can carry a maximum payload of 1 ton on road and 700 kg on water.
