Ukraine hands over refurbished AN-26 to the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Antonov AN-26 light military transport aircraft, overhauled within the Ukraine, was handed over to the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The AN-26 aircraft had undergone major repairs, during which all aircraft systems were restored, the SE “Plant 410 of Civil Aviation” announced on 1 November. The SE “Plant 410 of Civil Aviation”, which is part of the State Concern “UkrOboronProm”, hosted the official ceremony of handing over the overhauled AN-26 aircraft to the Customer and the crew.

The AN-26 light military transport aircraft is a modification of the AN-24, intended for transportation of cargo on the routes of short and medium range. Minimum commercial load is 5.5 t. It has cargo door whose ramp serves for entry of the technique or rolls away under the fuselage and loading directly from the car body.It may be used for transportation of 38-40 passengers on folding seats along the board on altitudes to 6000 meters.
