Army Contracting Command–Detroit Arsenal said it is seeking responses from both small and large businesses operating under NAICS code 332994, covering small arms, ordnance, and ordnance accessories manufacturing. Companies responding must demonstrate manufacturing capability, production capacity, and experience relevant to the component’s fabrication and testing requirements.
The notice specifies that a Technical Data Package exists for the firing mechanism but is restricted to U.S. Department of War and authorized defense contractors. Access will only be granted to vendors holding a valid DD Form 2345 certification under the Joint Certification Program, a requirement used to safeguard militarily critical technical data.
