Sea trials start for new Ukrainian Navy Gurza-M small armored artillery boats

In Odessa, began sea trials for new  Ukrainian Navy Project 58155 «Gurza-M»  small armored artillery boat . The boat BK-02 (assumed name “Akkerman”, serial number 01024) was at sea for sea trials after the boat head BK-01 (Serial number 01023).

The Project 58155 artillery boat “Gurza-M” was developed by UKROBORONPROM State Research and Design Shipbuilding Center. It is designed to patrol the borders on the rivers, lakes, reservoirs, internal and coastal waters. This development is in demand in foreign markets and is adopted by Naval Forces.

Boat length is 23.7 meters, height – 4.8 meters. The ship is capable of speeds up to 25 knots with a crew of five people on board. Range  – up to 700 miles. The boat is armed with two remote-controlled weapon stations Katran-M with an automatic gun, 30 mm, 30 mm caliber grenade launcher and a machine gun 7.62 mm.
