Russia to present its new armoured personnel carrier for the first time at the ARMY-2016

Russian Concern “Tractor Plants” will present its new BT-3F tracked armoured personnel carrier, for the first time, at II International military and technical forum ARMY-2016.

That was reported by rg.ru.

The new BT-3F is an amphibious and airportable armored personnel carrier,  based on the BMP-3 amphibious infantry fighting vehicle. This air assault transporter can carry 12 fully-equipped troops, plus the crew of two.

The new armored personnel carrier is armed with a remotely-controlled 7.62-mm machine gun for self-defense.

The official opening of ARMY-2016 will take place on September 6; in comparison with the previous year, the duration of the event will be increased by 2 more days considering the desire of participants.
