New K4386 «Typhoon-VDV» light airborne armoured vehicle spotted in Russia

The new K4386 «Typhoon-VDV» light airborne armoured vehicle was spotted  around Naberezhnye Chelny in Russia. 

The K4386 «Typhoon-VDV» is a is an air transportable, protected, high mobility multi-purpose armoured vehicle.  It was designed by JSC “Plant of special vehicles”  and Kamaz for Russian paratroopers.

The vehicle uses an all-new solid-body hull, revised frontal section, and support for a Remote Weapon Station (RWS) fitted to the hull roof. Interestingly, the vehicle  developed a group of students from universities of Tatarstan, they are also involved in the assembly of the first prototype.

In addition, the Airborne Troops may order improved version of Tigr armoured infantry vehicle, following modifications to meet the demands of the airborne.
