HIMARS artillery rocket system of United Arab Emirates Army heading to Ma’rib Yemen

The M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) is a U.S. light multiple rocket launcher mounted on a standard Army Medium Tactical Vehicle (MTV) truck frame.

The UAE has received at least 74 unitary and 44 submunition GMLRS pods under contracts announced in 2009 and 2010.
