Elbit Systems to build new ammo facility under $340M deal

Elbit Systems announced a significant contract with the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMOD) worth approximately $340 million for the supply of ammunition.

The contract, spanning ten years, will see Elbit Systems establish a dedicated manufacturing facility for this purpose.

Bezhalel (Butzi) Machlis, President and CEO of Elbit Systems, expressed gratitude for the trust placed in the company’s management and employees. “We continue to expand our production infrastructure and capabilities to support our customers,” Machlis stated. “Elbit Systems continues to develop, manufacture, and deliver top-tier technological solutions and products that are combat-proven, to our customers in Israel and worldwide.”
