Argentina has finalized an order for 110 VN 1 amphibious armored vehicles

Argenitinai MoD has finalized an order for 110 8×8 VN 1 amphibious armored vehicles from NORINCO. The contract includes 110 vehicles, to be license assembled in the Tandanor-CINAR shipyards.

The Norinco VN 1 will be equipped with a 12.7 mm machine gun, operational weight of 21 tons can carry 11 soldiers with full equipment+ three-man crew.

Norinco VN1 have modular design which claims to be able to field an APC model, an IFV model, an anti-tank gun model with an export variant, an Engineering model, a 122 mm self propelled howitzer model, a 155 mm self propelled howitzer model, an air defense model, a self-propelled mortar model, a recon model, a command vehicle model.
