The Israeli Air Force has released footage showing the destruction of an Iranian Emad ballistic missile launcher during an airstrike deep inside Iranian territory.
The video captures the moment an Israeli fighter jet engages the launcher, revealing a concealed platform designed to resemble a commercial truck.
The launcher’s deceptive frame, covered by a tarp to imitate a standard cargo vehicle, underscores Iran’s efforts to disguise military hardware as civilian transport in a bid to evade detection and increase survivability against aerial surveillance and strikes.
The Emad missile, derived from the Shahab-3 medium-range ballistic missile, represents one of Iran’s more advanced strategic weapons. It is powered by liquid fuel and equipped with a maneuverable reentry vehicle (MARV), improving its ability to evade missile defenses during the terminal phase of flight.

According to open-source intelligence, the Emad is believed to have an estimated range of up to 1,700 kilometers and is fitted with a guidance and control system in its nose cone. Iranian sources claim the system can achieve accuracy within 50 meters of its target.
In previous operations this week, Israeli aircraft have struck multiple Iranian helicopter gunships and air defense systems, including the Sevom Khordad surface-to-air missile system.
