Ukraine is looking for partners to develop Mobile Sonar Station

The Innovations Development Platform, Ukrainian agency for incubation and implementation of innovative projects in the field of defence technologies, is looking for partners to develop the Mobile Sonar Station.

The Mobile Sonar Station helps solve the problem of detection and identification of underwater subversive teams that may pose threats to the Navy staff, other critical objects, or trespass the state frontier. The Station features determining of the distance to objects in the sea and projecting of their movement, and may be operated both, in defined water zones and open water areas, in passive and in active modes of operation.

The innovative feature of the project is the use of hydro-acoustic, seismo-acoustic and radar technologies that enable combining of the active and passive operation modes in a single station. The innovative algorithm of hydro-acoustic signal processing based on vector-phase methods is another advantage.

The key values of the product include timely prevention of possible underwater subversion threats and double reduction of the cost of hydro-acoustic equipment.

Currently, there are no similar stations simultaneously employing the active and passive operation modes.

This development is designated to ensure long-distance identification of objects enabling, thereby, better monitoring of water areas by the Navy and border guard services.

The current project status (based on the TRL model) is TRL 4. It means that the project implementation is at the stage of verification of the prototype and its components in the laboratory environment.

If you are interested in cooperation and willing to join the Project as an investor or partner, please contact us, and we’ll give you the information in respect of mobile sonar station and detailed technical specifications.
