Zelenskyy confirms combat success of new cruise missile

Ukraine has successfully tested and deployed a new long-range missile capable of striking targets accurately at distances of up to one thousand kilometers, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“The long Neptune [extended version] missile was tested and successfully used in combat. A new Ukrainian missile, precise strike. The range of one thousand kilometers,” Zelenskyy stated.

The announcement highlights Ukraine’s continued efforts to enhance its military capabilities amid ongoing security challenges. The Neptune missile, recognized for its precision strike ability, significantly expands Ukraine’s operational reach, enabling its forces to engage distant strategic targets effectively.
