Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces shows interest in Z-10 precision rifle

The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces are considering the Z-10 precision rifle to fulfill its broadest range of tactical requirements. That was reported by a Zbroyar company, that produces this rifle.

According to Ukranian arms manufacturer, the Z-10 is a semi-automatic rifle developed on the base of the Ar-10 platform with the system «Direct Impingement» (DI) caliber 308Win.. The Z-10 rifle has the ability to fast fire at different distances, which is ideal for special operations forces.

The Z-10 rifle capable of engaging targets out to ranges of 1,200-1,500 m. The maximum effective range of the rifle is about 800 m. A standard model has .308 Win/7.62x51mm NATO caliber and 5 kg weight. A fixed barrel allows for precise fire less than 0.75-1.25 MOA.

The Z-10 precision rifles are manufactured in Ukraine by a small privately owned company Zbroyar. This company was founded in 2004 with the aim of manufacturing of rifles for long target shooting, long range hunting, and varminting, aswell as for tactical applications.
