Ukraine’s Military Plans to Upgrade and Repair 60 Aircraft in 2017

The Ukraine’s military aims to modernize its fleet of combat aircraft and helicopters. In 2017, Ministry of Defence of Ukraine is planning to upgrade and repair 60 combat aircraft and helicopters.

That was reported by the speaker of Ministry of Defenсe of Ukraine Dmytro Gutsulyak at a news briefing at the Ukraine Crisis Media Center.

“The Ukrainian Air Force continues to build up combat capabilities. This year it is planned to upgrade and repair 60 aircraft and helicopters, “- said Gutsulyak.

Moreover, the Air Force is preparing to receive new aircraft built on the base of the Ukrainian transport aircraft, Antonov An-148.
