Ukraine successfully test-fires «Corsar» light portable missile

The Ukrainian State Kyiv Design Bureau “Luch” successfully test-fired its newly developed «Corsar» light portable missile.

The official page of the company on Facebook revealed for the first time details of a test the «Corsar» light portable missile system. According to a company, 50 mm armor plates target penetrated by a blast-fragmentation warhead (105mm caliber) of «Corsar» missile.

«Corsar» light portable missile system is intended to destroy stationary and moving modern armoured targets and other objects with combined, carried or monolithic armour, including ERA (explosive reactive armour), as well as pinpoint targets such as weapon emplacements, a tank in a trench, light-armoured objects and helicopters.

Firing can be carried out from the mount as well as from a trench parapet.
