Ukraine showcases latest unmanned solutions at UMEX 2018

The leading exporter of the State concern UkrOboronProm – SFTE SpetsTechnoExport has showcased Ukrainian latest unmanned solutions at the UMEX 2018 unmanned systems show in Abu Dhabi.

The SpetsTechnoExport is demonstrating advanced Ukrainian unmanned aerial systems at the international exhibition UMEX-18, which takes place in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from February 25 up to 27.

Tactical intelligence systems with different types of payloads, anti UAVs defence systems as well as high precision loitering UAV with fixed warhead are among the exhibits at the Ukrainian pavilion. All products are produced by Ukrainian private and state-owned companies and have been used under war conditions in the Donbass. Ukrainian UAVs have proved their high resistance to the enemy’s electronic jamming systems and high aerodynamic properties.

At the first time were showcased the tactical unmanned aerial system PD-1 with high-end technology with 10 kg of payloads, featuring reliable flight controller, encrypted digital data link, inertial navigation unit combined with encrypted full HD video downlink that enable to broadcast live video in 50 km range and high precision loitering UAV “RAM”, that can carry up to 3 kg warhead.

Among other exhibits are upgraded multipurpose UAVs “Spectator”, “Observer-S”, drone PC-1, gyro-stabilized gimbals as well as anti UAV defence system Bukovel mini-FX – EW complex for suppression of radio communication channels and satellite navigation channels for micro and mini UAVs.
