Ukraine has a great experience of deployment of Special Operations Forces

General of the Army of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko, Chief of General Staff, held talks with Maj. Gen. Mark Schwartz, Commander, U.S. Special Operations Command Europe. The parties discussed in details the manning and training of the personnel and equipment of Special Operations Forces to accomplish task assigned, as well as details of Special Operations Forces formation process,

“Ukraine has a great experience of deployment of Special Operations Forces,” Viktor Muzhenko underlined, “Since 2014 our units forming the Special Operations Forces have been accomplishing tasks in combat operations.”

According to the Chief of General Staff, the Special Operations Forces Training Centre will be opened soon in Berdychiv.

Maj. Gen. Mark Schwartz underlined NATO supported Ukraine’s efforts, “We see Ukraine understands the specifics of deployment of the special operations forces and strategy of their formation and development.”
