U.S. to donate 16 used Kiowa helicopters to Croatia

The Croatian Defence Ministry has confirmed that a Croatian Armed Forces’ team of experts, led by Colonel Michael Krizanac, visited the United States and selected 16 used OH-58D Kiowa helicopters which the US Army will donate to the Croatian Army and Air Force, adding that “the used helicopters are in excellent condition.”

These helicopters do not have many flight hours and they are excellent aircraft, the ministry said in a press release adding that the donated helicopters should fly in Croatian skies next year.
