Taiwan showcases new 7.62mm semi-automatic sniper rifle

The 205th Armory of the Armament Bureau has unveiled a new XT107 7.62mm semi-automatic sniper rifle at the Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition (TADTE 2017).

The new XT107 sniper rifle is designed according to the concept of 5.56mm MSR rifle. It is based on the requirements of shooting combat for detectors and designated marksmen to satisfy various combat environment upon rapid and price tactics.

The new XT107 assault rifle for the 5.56×45mm NATO round is designed to meet the stringent tactical requirements of modern urban warfare, counterterrorism, and close quarters combat.
