Spetstechnoexport represents the Ukrainian defense products in the Republic of the Philippines

SFTE “Spetstechnoexport”, part of the State Concern “Ukroboronprom”, represents the Ukrainian defense products at the Defense, Security and Crisis Management Exhibition and Conference ADAS-2018, that takes place in Manila, Republic of the Philippines, from 26 to 28 September.

The ADAS exhibition and conference has been organized in the Philippines for the third time, this year the event is the largest in its history. The products of Ukrainian defense enterprises are presented at this exhibition for the first time. The Ukrainian delegation is headed by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of the Philippines Olexandr Nechytaylo.

“Spetstechnoexport” demonstrates the products of the Ukrainian defense industry to the military leadership of the Republic of the Philippines as well as to local companies via VR video technology. Thus, the visitors of the Ukrainian pavillion get acquainted with modern defense equipment, among them – BTR-4MV, developed by the Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau, 3D radar 80K6T developed by the “NSC “Iskra”, multi-purpose transport aircraft An-132 and An-178 from SE “Antonov “, KrAZ Armored Vehicles “Shrek” and “Fiona”, “Varta” and “Novator” armored vehicles by the “Ukrainain Armor” LLC, 120 mm Mobile mortar complex UKR-MMC based on the “Bars-8” chassis from the SE “Ukroboronservis”, Unmanned aerial system PD-1 VTOL with vertical take-off and landing from “Ukrspecsystems” company.

According to the National Defense Secretary of the Republic of the Philippines Mr. Delfin N. Lorenzana, the political leadership of the Philippines is committed to modernizing the Armed Forces, strengthening its disaster resilience and relief capacity, enhancing the border protection and surveillance capabilities.

“Spetstechnoexport” is developing cooperation with Philipino defense partners from 2016. The most intense communication continues in the areas of armored vehicles, radars and air defense systems and shipbuilding. The exhibition is scheduled for meetings with senior management of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Philippines.
