Russian Airborne troops for the first time are participating in the joint international exercise in Africa

Units of the Russian Airborne troops with hardware and armament are participating in the joint international exercise held in Africa for the first time. They are to leave Russia for Egypt in October 2016.

This exercise will be one of the first opportunities to hold joint exercise in the territory of Africa.

Representatives of more than 30 countries will be spectators of the international exercise.

Russian military servicemen are taking part in the exercise under the reached agreements with the Egyptian party and in accordance to the plan of international activity of the Russian Defence Ministry.
