Kratos announces new contracts for missile defense system and other microwave electronic products

San Diego-based U.S. defense contractor Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. announced that it has recently received $16.4 million in missile defense system and other microwave electronic products orders.

According to the company’s announcement, Kratos is a leader in providing microwave electronic products which support missile defense, electronic warfare, guided munitions, communications and other mission critical systems.

Work under these recently received contract awards will be performed in secure Kratos manufacturing facilities. It is worth noting that the company without giving any further details of new orders.

“Due to competitive, customer related and other considerations, no additional information will be provided,” said in a statement.

Yonah Adelman, President of Kratos Microwave Electronics Division, said, “Our entire organization is proud to have been selected to support these critical customer system requirements.”
