French defense manufacturer KNDS France has officially unveiled the CENTURIO-X30, its latest innovation in robotic ground combat technology, at IDEX 2025.
The advanced unmanned combat vehicle, showcased for the first time in this configuration, is designed to provide heavy fire support to dismounted units while maintaining remote operation capabilities.
The CENTURIO-X30 is armed with a 30mm (30×113) autocannon and is built upon the PHOBOS platform, developed in collaboration with KNDS’ partner, SOGECLAIR.
Designed for high-intensity combat operations, the robotic system integrates state-of-the-art autonomous mobility and fire support functionalities, making it a formidable asset on the modern battlefield.
These capabilities enable the CENTURIO-X30 to assist operators by adapting to battlefield conditions, reducing cognitive load during low-intensity missions, and providing crucial decision-making support during high-intensity engagements.
With its powerful 30mm cannon, the CENTURIO-X30 delivers high-precision firepower against a range of targets, including armored vehicles, fortified positions, and enemy personnel. The system’s modular architecture allows for future upgrades, including additional weapon integrations and sensor packages.
