Kazakhstan Air Force takes delivery UH-1 Huey helicopter from the United States

The Kazakhstan Air Force has accepted and taken delivery of Bell  UH-1H-II Huey II ( “03 red” tail number) helicopters, reported press service of the Kazakh Defense Ministry.

The message states that this is the United States to Kazakhstan gratis third aircraft UH-1 ‘Huey’ helicopter .UH-1 helicopter is a US company Bell Helicopter design and manufacture of a multipurpose military helicopter, superior performance, and the air reconnaissance ability.

‘Huey’ helicopters are widely used in a variety of exercises, including special tactical exercises as early as 2006 and 2007, Kazakhstan flight and technical personnel had to learn the theory of operation of the helicopter, and hands-on training.

According to Kazakhstan’s state news agency reported that the helicopter is equipped with a T-53-L-703 engine, the power of 1800 hp, and also features an integrated navigation and electronic equipment. The maximum takeoff weight of 4762 kg, a top speed of 240 km Kazakhstan army will its main use of personnel transport (up to 12) and the transport of various materials, participating in the search and rescue operations.
