In a ceremony attended by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday, Iran unveiled the latest domestically-made military products developed by the Defense Ministry, including the country’s first homegrown advanced jet trainer.

Iran has unveiled a new Kosar (also named Kowsar) advanced jet trainer. According to Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan, apart from application in pilot training courses, Kowsar can be used for aerial support missions in short distances, and can also carry various weapons.
