Helicopters of the Russian army aviation received new EW complex Vitebsk

All squadrons of Mi-8AMTSh helicopters of the Eastern MD army aviation airbase were equipped with new EW complex Vitebsk.

Mi-24 helicopters are to be equipped with the complex by the end of 2016.

Modernization of the helicopters is held in aviation plants of Zabaykalsky Krai, Khabarovsk Krai, and Ulan-Ude aviation plant.

Vitebsk is designed for individual protection of the helicopter from antiaircraft missile and radars.
