ERA Introduced a Brand New Mobile Antenna Mast for System VERA-NG

Czech company ERA in cooperation with the German SMAG introduced a brand new mobile antenna mast for its system VERA-NG.

SMAG supplies its new mast system type Ftm 25/6 in order to complement ERA’s unique passive reconnaissance and surveillance DPET. The objective of this project has been to connect both products in an optimal way to work together as one unit.

This state of the art technology permits maximum mobility on rough terrain. The prototype is due to be finished in Q1/2017 and be ready for first deliveries at the end of this year.

The Vera-NG is a Passive ESM (Electronic Support Measure) Tracker.

Air defence and passive surveillance are critical elements in today’s military and security operations. Vera-NG addresses this by providing the most advanced and state-of-the-art Passive Surveillance System designed for detection, location, identification and tracking of air, ground and naval targets.

Vera-NG uses advanced techniques to conduct cross-border long-term and long-range surveillance without alerting neighbouring nations. It effectively “sees without being seen”.
