The AXIX GP company will demonstrate, at at the upcoming Association of the United States Army (AUSA) conference in Washington DC, the concept of hybrid quad-rotor close-air support vehicle.
The military and weaponized version of the drone quad-rotor vehicle has vertical takeoff and landing capabilities, hovers, and flies at a top speed of 350mph.
According to the company, the hybrid close-air support vehicle will have a general hybrid power plant based on new and existing combustible engines and Tesla Inc electric induction motor technology giving it the performance reliability of a combustible engine; but maintaining electric power under load.
Flight operation and navigation will be achieved by Visual Flight Rules and a real-time GPS navigation satellite system, in a heads-up display. The AXIX’s hybrid close-air support vehicle will be powered by a Kawasaki Mule engine/CVT, with a Quick-Charge hybrid link to (4)Tesla Model S induction motors; Dual axial rotors for 5- axis flight; carbon fiber/aluminum fused construction; a phenomenal power to weight ratio for flight.
Also noted that the construction of hybrid quad-rotor close-air support vehicle will be 3D printing.
The militarized version will have cannon and rocket weapons.
The AXIX GP also noted that Manufacturing, Testing, and R&D of the first generation of aircraft will be conducted on foreign soil to ensure no USA bureaucratic/domestic business interference from third parties or worse.
It is worth noting that the military experts have expressed their concern about reality capabilities of this hybrid quad-rotor close-air support vehicle.
The AXIX GP will unveil details of its newest hybrid quad-rotor close-air support vehicle during AUSA 2018 at Booth 8823.
