The KrAZ-Fiona armored vehicle is now in Ukraine! It has been unveiled on August 28 during the celebration of 70th anniversary of the company.
The KrAZ-6322 Fiona vehicle has been built by Kremenchug Automobile Plant in partnership with Streit Group (Canada-UAE).
Fiona-APC is used for combat missions both in urban environment and over rugged terrains. The vehicle is fully armored, it is designed to protect occupants against ballistic threats from any angle. All the vehicle components have been modified to support the weight of armoring. The wheels are provided with run-flat system. The vehicle interior can be converted to meet the needs of customers. The Fiona-APC is based on the KrAZ-6322 6х6 AWD vehicle. It is available with different engines built by various manufacturers. At customer’s request this vehicle is provided with diesel engine delivering 330 hp, the MFZ-430 clutch and the Fast Gear transmission. It features hydraulically driven rear door, search lights, electrical winch, rear view camera, turret with place provided with stowage of arms, towing hook.
It should be recalled that the Fiona-APC vehicle has gone on display for the first time ever at the International Defense Exhibition IDEX 2015 in UAE and sparked an unprecedented interest of attendees. The exhibition’s proving ground obstacle course held every day throughout the exhibition demonstrated to spectators all the advantages and capabilities of this armored off-road vehicle. It is no wonder that the Fiona-APC has been delivered to foreign buyer directly from the exhibition and has not come back to Ukraine.
