League defense companies of Ukraine organises first All-Ukrainian forum of private enterprises

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov on Thursday inaugurated the first All-Ukrainian forum of private enterprises in Kyiv.

The event, organised by the League of defense enterprises of Ukraine was held under the title “first All-Ukrainian forum of private enterprises of the Ukrainian defense industrial complex ”.

The meeting aims at further boosting cooperation, economic and investment ties, as well as forging new partnerships between state and private enterprises. The forum also included the exhibition of newest military vehicle and equipment developed by companies from the League defense companies of Ukraine.

The first day of the forum was held at the facilities of the Practika enterprise. The Practika is leading Ukrainian producer in the sphere of armored vehicles. The company has been represented at Ukrainian market since 1993 and since 1997 produces the ve­hicles of special purpose (including vehicles with ar­mor protection).

Oleg Vysotsky, Chairman of the Board of the «League», Chairman of the Board of Directors of Practika, presented the opportunities and potential of the association of private defense enterprises.
